Profiles in sendzimir galvanized or electro galvanized steel

Hot dip galvanizing is the oldest and most widespread method that allows zinc coating on iron. The treatment isolates the underlying steel from the external corrosive environment and the corrosion products seal the areas of the steel which, as a result of accidental phenomena such as bumps and scratches, come into contact with them.
Resistant to atmospheric corrosion, in fresh and salt water, galvanized steel is also suitable for use in closed environments, both civil and industrial, for the construction of elements for machines and machinery or production lines. Often subject to further painting, the production process may result in the finished product or an element subject to possible cutting and future processing.
For electro-galvanized steel, the zinc coating is applied by electrolysis which allows for lower thicknesses, more suitable for interior applications and subsequent painting, constituting an excellent substrate for the latter process.

Galvanized steel profiles are used for the production of:

  • road protection
  • guides for furniture drawers
  • guides for sliding doors
  • elements for shelving
  • guides and elements for shutters
  • profiles for industrial clamping
  • construction elements for lifts
  • load-bearing elements for agricultural greenhouses
  • electrical conduits for industrial plants
  • guides and elements for industrial doors
  • support panels for conveyor belts
  • soundproofing elements – anti-noise panels
  • structural support elements for plasterboard walls
  • ducts for ventilation and air conditioning systems
  • fastening systems for elements that make up the prefabricated buildings in reinforced concrete
  • concrete containment elements in prefabricated reinforced concrete systems
